Team Leader

Scott R. Maesel serves as Managing Director for SVN® | Chicago Commercial in Chicago’s West Loop/Fulton Market. With over 25 years of industry experience, Maesel is a highly regarded Chicago CRE veteran and named one of Crain’s Most Influential Commercial Real Estate Brokers.

 Early in his career, he worked for Glascott & Associates and Garrett Realty & Development prior to co-founding the highly successful commercial division of Sussex & Reilly Real Estate. In 2008, he affiliated his own independent boutique company with SVN®, an International Investment Real Estate Company.

Since 2015, Maesel and his partners have opened and / or created:

SVN® Denver Commercial, SVN® Cuba (an exploratory company), SVN® Chicago Property Management, SVN® Industrial Division (Rosemont), SVN® Commercial Partners (Boca Raton), and Konnect - a real estate finance company.

Maesel is the former President of the Advisory Council for the highly acclaimed Mary Bartelme Park in the West Loop and past President of the West Loop Community Organization. He is a West Loop/Fulton Market business & commercial property owner. He enjoys adventure travel, adventure races, running, mountain biking and spending time with his family and young twins.

Drew Dillon serves as an Assistant Vice President of SVN® Chicago Commercial and is a founding member of the Urban Team with over 11 years of industry experience. Drew began his career specializing in retail leasing, helping to complete some of the early notable retail leases in the Fulton Market/West Loop Sub-Market.

Mr. Dillon’s specialty has evolved into investment sales, which is now his exclusive focus. He has sold over 60 properties for his clients to date. Drew is responsible for business development as well as evaluating, underwriting, marketing, and assisting in the closings of transactions for the Team’s clients. With unparalleled market knowledge and transactional experience, he is able to ensure his clients receive the best value for their assets while enjoying a seamless transaction experience.

Schroedl is a founding member of the Urban Team with over 12 years of CRE brokerage experience and has over $150M in transaction experience in the sale, leasing and development of office properties. With a background as an attorney specializing in land use and zoning, Schroedl’s real estate experience includes redevelopment and adaptive reuse of historic loft buildings, underwriting and disposition of value-add and stabilized commercial properties and extensive landlord representation.

A resident of the West Loop, Schroedl is an active participant in WLCO, WCA, and volunteers with the Urban Land Institute. He enjoys travel, skiing, running, mountain biking and exploring new restaurants.
